Responsibilities:

  • Provide world-class IT services to our customers
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships with all clients
  • Demonstrate a high degree of professional conduct at all times
  • DAILY time entry accounting for at least 9 hours
  • Documentation of Client Networks
  • Small Projects
  • Assist Sr. Engineers on Larger projects
  • Assist with monitoring and tracking of service tickets to ensure that resolution occurs within the timeline
  • Ability to provide accurate time estimates for how long a task will take Develop and maintain knowledge of the client’s specific business environment
  • Regularly communicate with clients, set expectations and set priorities appropriately
  • Ability to articulate technical information clearly and simply to non-technical people
  • Provide timely status updates, root-cause analysis and ideas to address issues
  • Apply fundamental troubleshooting skills to issues before escalating to the appropriate group
  • Recognize and resolve systemic issues to prevent them from repeating
  • Takes ownership of tasks and follows through to ensure complete resolution
  • Takes a personal interest in, and responsibility for, quality of work they perform or are associated with
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail while performing technically detailed tasks
  • Ability to deal effectively with stressful situations
  • Ability and willingness to recognize when it is necessary to ask for technical expertise from others without unnecessarily burdening other team members
  • Understands that the success of individuals is measured by the success of their teams

Required Qualifications:

  • College Degree in a related field
  • Experience in IT service help desk and/or consulting

 

Required Skills:

  • Friendly disposition and a great sense of humor
  • Impeccable communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Be a quick learner and thrive to improve knowledge, skills, and performance
  • Creative problem solving and strong troubleshooting skills
  • Diagnosis and maintenance of all computer hardware and peripherals
  • Server and desktop administration using Microsoft OS (Server 2012, 2016, 2019; Windows 7, 10), and Mac OS
  • Working experience with TCP/IP networks, DHCP, DNS, routing, firewalls, Wi-Fi
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory and domain environments
  • Basic knowledge of Office 365 and administering it
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
  • Ability to demonstrate consistency and follow-through on assigned tasks

 

Nice to have:

  • Working knowledge of ConnectWise, Continuum or other RMM Tools and IT Glue
  • Technical certifications (Microsoft MSCA/MCSE, VMware)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and relevant experience
